Çengelköy-born roaster, now six Istanbul shops and a wholesale arm.

It started in Çengelköy in 2019 and has since opened at Torun Center, Bomonti, and Astoria in Şişli, and in Kayaşehir and Bahçeşehir.

Filter coffees range from El Salvador El Cerro to Ethiopia Bombe Qonqana, with limited seasonal lots alongside, and the online shop sells Turkish coffee and brewing equipment. Newtown also offers wholesale supply and franchising.

At this shop

The shop sits in an open plaza beneath a pedestrian footbridge at Torun Center in Şişli, beside the Biletinial cinema entrance and glass office towers behind. Inside, a grey banquette runs along a walnut-panelled wall opposite an espresso bar backed by digital menu screens, with more seating spilling onto the plaza under a row of evergreen planters.
