Çengelköy-born roaster, now six Istanbul shops and a wholesale arm.

It started in Çengelköy in 2019 and has since opened at Torun Center, Bomonti, and Astoria in Şişli, and in Kayaşehir and Bahçeşehir.

Filter coffees range from El Salvador El Cerro to Ethiopia Bombe Qonqana, with limited seasonal lots alongside, and the online shop sells Turkish coffee and brewing equipment. Newtown also offers wholesale supply and franchising.

At this shop

The shop is an open bay off a mall corridor at Astoria in Şişli, its black storefront band facing a Starbucks unit across the walkway. Inside, rows of white globe pendants hang from a coffered ceiling above a marble counter backed by digital menu screens, running back past a long communal table to seating by full-height windows at the rear.
