About these terms
Istanbrew (istanbrew.com) is run by Filter. These terms apply whenever you use the site. If you don’t agree with them, please don’t use it.
What the guide is
Istanbrew is a free, independent guide to speciality coffee in Istanbul. Our Picks and other selections are our own editorial opinion. Shops don’t pay to be listed or chosen.
Accuracy of information
We work to keep opening hours, addresses, menus, beans, events and other details accurate, but shops change and we can’t guarantee that everything is correct, complete or current.
Please check with a shop directly before making a special trip, especially around public and religious holidays. If you spot something wrong, email us and we’ll fix it.
Maps and directions
Maps, distances and walking or transit times are estimates. Directions open in a third-party app such as Apple Maps or Google Maps, which is covered by its own terms. Take care and follow local rules when travelling.
Using the site
You’re welcome to browse, share links and use the guide for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. Please don’t:
- copy, scrape or republish the listings, write-ups or photos in bulk, or use them to build a competing product or train AI models
- interfere with the site, its security or its infrastructure, or try to access it by automated means other than ordinary search engine crawling
- use the site for anything unlawful
Content and trademarks
The Istanbrew name, logo, design, write-ups and our own photography belong to Filter or our licensors. Shop names, logos and photos belong to their owners and appear here to identify them. Map data is © Mapbox and © OpenStreetMap contributors.

Links to other sites
We link to shops’ websites, social media and maps apps. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content, products or privacy practices.
Availability
The site is provided free and “as is”. We may change, pause or withdraw any part of it at any time, and we don’t promise it will always be available or free of errors.
Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or your reliance on its information, including a wasted journey to a shop that has closed or changed its hours.
