American Kurt Miller, a longtime Istanbul resident, opened the first Homestead in 2022 and took on direct sourcing and roasting in 2023. Miller later bought the Antalya roaster, moved the family there and folded it into Homestead, which now roasts light single-origin microlots at a café in Sarısu, Konyaaltı, facing the Taurus Mountains.
The range has included Ethiopia Killenso and Kokosa, Honduras Las Delicias and a Colombia from Valparaiso, alongside an omni-roast blend called 15/B.
